Our article on this creation myth clearly starts "he Genesis creation narrative is the creation myth of both Judaism and Christianity." That's accurate. Read Creation myth. You are correct the Wikipedia article you cited does clearly state the above, but most who read the creationism article will not realize that the term myth is being used in the way that you intended, in fact the Wikipedia page on Myth states that in popular usage it means a belief that has no basis in fact and for many who have religious convictions this terminology is quite insulting. Whereas narrative, a word meaning story, does not have connotations of whether it is real or fanciful, conveys the point of the article without being discourteous.
