In Australia circle on red/black strips is eligible for copyright protection (australian aboriginal flag) so this one probably also is copyrighted Bulwersator (talk) 10:57, 2 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Comment Hmmm, Commons:Threshold of originality#Australia does indeed show a simple flag is considered copyright in Australia, but is this not ineligible because it is just a sequence of letters in a simple Font? I see that page notes the United Kingdom as exceptional in treating fonts as subject to copyright - is Australia similar? I can also see some creativity in choosing that particular typeface. I am wondering if File:Allen and Overy.svg also exceeds the low United Kingdom threshold? After reading around I feel File:Kmart Australia logo.svg is also above such a low threshold, so I am nominating that too.
