Riverside County, California, held primary elections for county board of supervisors, county assessor-clerk-recorder, county auditor-controller, district attorney, county sheriff-coroner-public administrator, county treasurer-tax collector, county superintendent of schools, county board of education, and superior court judges on June 5, 2018. Whoever received the most votes for the county board of education won the seat outright in the primary. Candidates who received a majority of votes in the primaries for the other seats on the ballot also won outright. Because no candidates received a majority of votes in the primary races for sheriff-coronor-public administrator and the District 2 and 5 seats on the board of supervisors, the top two vote-getters in each race advanced to a general election that was held on November 6, 2018. The filing deadline was March 9, 2018.[1]

Races for Riverside Community College District trustees and Western Municipal Water District seats were also held on November 6, 2018.
