Biography
Michele Grim was born in Ashland, Ohio, and lives in Toledo. Grim earned a B.A. in women and gender studies from the University of Toledo in 2005, a master's of public health from the Northwest Ohio Consortium for Public Health in 2007, a graduate certificate in sexuality education from the University of Michigan in 2011, and a doctor of law and policy from Northeastern University in 2020. Her career experience includes working as a health coach and educator in Lucas County, a risk reduction educator for the AIDS Resource Center Ohio, an epidemiologist from the Toledo-Lucas County health department, a grants management specialist for the AIDS Project of the East Bay, and a health policy researcher/educator.[1]

For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
