Alexander Akerman
Alexander Akerman (1869-1948) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
He was nominated by President Calvin Coolidge on January 19, 1929 to a new seat created by 45 Stat. 1081. He was confirmed by the Senate on February 15, 1929, and received commission that same day. On October 8, 1939, he assumed senior status. He served until his death on August 21, 1948.
