Alex Moe is running for the Minnesota House of Representatives for Legislative District 32B. Alex decided to run because he has a history of serving his community and striving to make Minnesota a better place for everyone. Becoming a Minnesota House Representative is a great way for Alex to continue his passion for serving his community.

Trust in our institutions, including schools, law enforcement, and government, is declining. Alex Moe will help renew that trust in Minnesota's institutions. He will work for Minnesotans as a true representative, and not a career politician. He hopes to bring more education, reform, and unity to the North Star State.

  • Strengthening law enforcement by passing laws to address the rising crime rates and hire more police officers to fill the 1,000 officer shortage statewide
  • Restoring academic excellence in our schools by supporting teachers, removing unnecessary policy mandates, and improving discipline in classrooms
  • Supporting Minnesotans through inflation by cutting government overspending, reducing taxes, and removing taxes from social security benefits

Alex Moe is very passionate about improving Minnesota's respect and support for law enforcement at all levels. He supports school resource officers, addressing the current police officer shortage, and protecting police officers from unruly protesters. Alex supports giving officers the resources to protect our neighborhoods and communities without unnecessary restraints.

Alex also supports addressing the academic decline in our public schools. Reading rates are dropping, classroom disruptions are increasing, and teachers are leaving the field at an unprecedented rate due to lack of authority in their classrooms and unnecessary policy mandates regarding curriculum. Alex wants to restore academic excellence by supporting teachers.

Alex Moe believes that elected officials should always focus on the values of their constituents. As a public servant, Alex will listen and act on the concerns of residents in his district.

Alex Moe believes that the core responsibilities for a State House Representative include focusing on local and state issues, being truthful to the people, and making sure the people of Minnesota will benefit from all laws passed.

Alex Moe's first job was as a baseball umpire in 2015.

Alex Moe believes that our state's greatest challenges over the next decade will be addressing housing costs and prescription prices, improving academic performance, and revitalizing our state's law enforcement.

Former State House Representative Donald Raleigh

Alex Moe is interested in serving on the Higher Education and Finance Policy Committee, the Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee, and the Education Policy Committee.
