Whether you’re planning to travel by train today, next week, or next month, you can always get the most up-to-date timetable information from National Rail

Whatever your reason for taking the train – whether its going to the office, visiting friends or family, or heading out on a big adventure – our Journey Planner and Live Trains page have the most up-to-date information. It’s always advisable to check for any disruptions before you leave, as well as future engineering works when planning your travel. You can also see any alterations to the published National Rail timetable on our Timetable Changes page.

Your personalised timetable

You can create your own timetable and save it as a PDF document*. You can custom build the timetable to your own journey requirements and the dates you want to travel. Your timetable can even show interchange stations and times.

Timetables are available for the next 12 weeks, and will include any changes to previously published train times that have been made available by train companies*.

* Please note, this timetable information is provided by train companies and may not reflect changes due to industrial action if that data has not been provided. Please visit our Industrial Action page for the most up-to-date information.

Train company timetables

To find a timetable for an individual train company, select their name from the list below and you will be able to view, download and print the latest version of the timetable from their website.

No printer? No problem!

If you would like to have a timetable printed and sent to you by post, you can contact National Rail Customer Relations by:

  • email at [email protected]. Please remember to include your name and postal address if you request your timetable/s by email

  • telephone on 0800 022 3720. Phone lines are open from 9:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday, including bank holidays
