Times have changed as of 2 June

On Sunday, 2 June, we introduced a new timetable as part of our commitment to build a better, more reliable, and sustainable railway

These changes provide better spacing of trains across the day, meaning less waiting time on platforms. We've also reviewed capacity and provided more space on our busiest services.

More than 200 extra services every week from December

As our railway continues to grow, we are listening to your feedback, and have more changes planned later this year.

Our next timetable update starts on Sunday 15 December and will bring an additional 205 services per week.

This includes the introduction of 12 additional ‘rounder’ services on the Sidcup and Greenwich lines in the morning and evening peaks, improving access to the Elizabeth Line, as well as linking the Sidcup line with Cannon Street and New Cross.

These services will call at: Cannon Street, London Bridge, Deptford, Greenwich, Maze Hill, Westcombe Park, Charlton, Woolwich Dockyard, Woolwich Arsenal, Plumstead, Abbey Wood, Belvedere, Erith, Slade Green, Crayford, Bexley, Albany Park, Sidcup, New Eltham, Mottingham, Lee, Hither Green, St Johns, New Cross, London Bridge and Cannon Street.

We will also increase off-peak and evening stopping services between Victoria and Orpington via Herne Hill to provide trains every 15 minutes – enabling a ‘turn up and go’ Metro timetable.

Two evening services from Charing Cross to Maidstone East extended to Ashford International, calling at Bearsted, Hollingbourne, Harrietsham, Lenham and Charing.

We expect these services to show in Journey Planners from this autumn and we will share more details closer to the time.
