First hospital appointment

First hospital appointment tomorrow and I don’t know what to expect (this is my third child so I should know better!)
Im going to be doing shared care with my GP for this pregnancy, so that’s new. I just forgot what to expect so if anyone can remind me that would be great! Thank you
I’m also hating that anxious period between the 12 week scan and the 20 week one. How do you know baby is ok? Stressful.

- There’s not much to the appointment, depends if you are seeing a midwife or obstetrician. They will do the general questions about how you’ve been, che know you have any concerns. Do a measure/check bubs heart with the Doppler or if you’re lucky a quick bedside scan. Give you a referral for 20 weeks scan if you don’t already have one, path slips for when you’ll need to do the diabetic testing around 20weeks. Discuss what you are wanting eg natural birth or if you raise concerns and want a different type of birth it’s time for you to tell them that. I think that’s pretty much it.
