Best baby monitors

A monitor can offer peace of mind when your baby or toddler is sleeping. During the day, if your little one takes naps in their cot, having a monitor means you’ll be able to tick a few things off your to-do list or have a bit of relaxation time while still keeping your eyes and ears on them.

When it comes to finding the right baby monitor for you and your family, there’s a lot to consider: cost, image quality, screen size, and the features you’d like it to have, for example, an inbuilt night light, two-way talkback, lullabies or white noise. Do you want audio and video, or just audio, and do you want to be able to attach additional cameras for a growing family? There are so many options!

Vtech Video Baby Monitor BM5150-BEARN

Vtech Video Baby Monitor
BabyBunting

I have to start with the monitor I use at home! We’ve been using it for 18 months, and so far, so good. The battery life is good, and the range seems to be good for a single-storey house. The image is clear for both day and night, and the screen is super responsive to noise.
