Koroglu is an opera by Uzeyir Hajibeyov. مبحث اپرای کوراغلو اثر "ئوزیر حاجی‌بَی‌اُف"، ضمن ارائه تاریخ اپرا در آذربایجان به بررسی اجمالی زندگی مصنف می‌پردازد؛ در این گفتار کوراغلو و داستان حماسی او به طور مختصر گنجانیده شده و تفاوت‌هایش با لیبرتوی اپرا ذکر می‌شود. آریاها و موسیقی اپرا، نقش "ئوزیر بَی" در تاریخ تحولات موسیقی، به همراه بخش‌هایی کوتاه از پارتیتور، مطالب بعدی این مقاله است. چشم‌انداز جهانی آثار موسیقیِ آذربایجانی، و آراء و نظریات بزرگان هنرِ موسیقیِ آکادمیک درباره جایگاه این اثر از دیگر موضوعات این گفتار می‌باشد.

The article is focused on the relationship between the Rudyard Kipling’s childhood impressions and his mature works, where his early experience revealed itself indirectly. Parallel, the same is observed in the lives and works of the representatives of another sphere of art – music. Article’s author provides some examples showing the influence of the childhood and youth experience upon the work of the key figures of the Azerbaijani music, such as outstanding composers Uzeyr Hajibeyov and Gara Garayev. The first time the problem of the underlying influence on the later activities is studied through the examples of the representatives of different kinds of arts – English literature and Azerbaijani music.
