And those people are both walking in the door and working there. Again, not for the faint of heart, but it, for me, was the only job where I could make 6 figures at 19 years old with no degree.

You will decide if it is your thing shortly.
+1. I think for a single 20-something, it's the perfect career.

Personally, I find your attitude as being the core problem with the world today!
This does not sound like EA at all.

There was someone else in the mix and now all of their posts are gone....probably for good reason!

While the job is disheartening, I am resilient, robust, and determined. I left the cab job because I had no free time at all, that's unacceptable to me. This sales job gives me 2 full days off, and a couple early days. They structure the day before and day after your day off in a way that maximizes your time off. I'm off Wed so Tuesday I get off at 5:30pm. I don't go back until Thursday at 1pm.
Sun is a little different since Saturday is open to close for all. However, I don't go back in until 12 noon on Mon.
Free time is Important to me, but I will give it up to make a living. Last night, at 5pm, 30 minutes before I could leave and go home, I took an up. She wanted a Challenger, and I sold her one. I didn't get home until 9:30
Not on lie was told, no information was altered or slanted. She bought the car she wanted, for the price she wanted, with the down payment she wanted. We even threw in the head unit upgrade for free. You can sell cars honestly, and I intend to do so.

This customer was extremely happy with her purchase. So much so, she went out of her way to go tell my manager how much she liked me, and the car. She's almost 70 and has a hard time walking, yet walked all the way across the showroom floor to talk to him.

The car I sold her last night. Sold it off the showroom floor, while the big boss was there.

The majority of my stress, right now, is related to my bills. I need 4,000 dollars by the end of the month. Currently, I'm set to make a little under half that. So I am stressing every single day I don't make a sale.
I'm stressing the changes going on there. I'm now without a closer, and the Director of Ops sees me as seasoned already. I get no slack, and I'm expected to know everything already. That's stressful. There's a lot to sales, and I haven't encountered quite a bit of it, yet.

Apparently, I'm pretty good at this because of my fearlessness, ability to get in front of people and make them like me.
I'm not going to content with this job until I see the money.

Either way, I'm going to get my cdl A with endorsements as a back up.

I apologize for the sloppy nature of this post. I am multi tasking. I'm watching the Bill Nye/ Ken Ham debate whilst typing this out.

Ham debated with both hands tied behind his back. Faith tends to do that...

She is a bad ass. Martial arts, ken do, knife training, sharpshooting. Her even older husband built drag cars and drag bikes.
She eclipsed 100mph on the test drive.

Oh, I should have known that the flow of the thread was kind of weird.
