Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

While the dining halls are definitely no place to take a date, or anyone for that matter, to have a nice meal, they are adequate for everyday use. Georgia Tech is served by two dining halls, Brittain and Woodruff, which are located at opposite ends of the campus. The quality of the food has improved steadily over the last five years. Breakfast food is always your best bet at these dining halls, and students are free to make their own sandwiches and salads at the salad bar, if they choose to do so.

For a satisfying lunch or breakfast with a professor, friend, coworker, or anyone else, there are always two choices on campus: the Student Center Commons and the Student Center Food Court. Both the Student Center Commons and Food Court offer an exceptional variety of choices for lunch, including Chick-fil-A, Burger King, Jackets, and even a Starbucks.

Great, but Greasy and Salty.

B+

You can eat all you want once you enter the dining hall.

You could choose any food you want to eat, and the menu changes everyday.

It is greasy and salty, but you could choose not to eat them when they come out. Don't be deceived by their looks.

If you are a person who love to eat greasy and salty food, then it's great!

There are many people who are suffering because they get fat by eating too much food, unable to control the amount they eat.

Thing that's great about it is that there is a nutrition chart on every food.

Also, they have different cultural foods available sometimes.

Eating at Tech

B+

It's not nearly as bad as everyone says. The unofficial options are pretty good too; WaHo, Chick-Fil-A, Ray's, etc. It's just dining hall food...Get over it; don't expect anything amazing, but there's always cereal and sandwiches, so it works.

Dining

C+

The food on campus is average unless you are a student athlete and can use the student athlete dining facility, which is much better than the other dining halls. There are other places to eat at besides the dining facilities such as the food court in the student center and other little restaurants around campus. But besides the dining halls nothing else is open after 8.
