Please note: English Language Center (ELC) student work authorizations are renewable before the end of each class session. They are not continuous year-round. Please advise the students to renew their work authorization 2 weeks before the end of each class session. 2007 ELC class dates: Winter: January 8 to April 20, Spring/Summer: May 7 to August 10, Fall: September 10 to December 13. When classes are in session all students must return to their regular work schedule.
BYU work-week is Saturday to Friday
* BYU International Students may take their break during the Fall or Winter semesters upon prior advisement of the International Office. They are then required to take classes in Spring/Summer and are restricted to 20 hours per week.
