EOIs are now open for anyone interested in hosting an event for NAIDOC Week, which runs from Sunday 7 July to Sunday 14 July. NAIDOC Week celebrates the achievements and histories of the oldest continuous living cultures on earth. The 2024 theme, ‘Keep the Fire Burning!
UQ’s Fitness Passport offers staff and their families significantly discounted fitness membership. For a single fee, silver members get access to over 430 pools and fitness facilities across Queensland, while platinum members enjoy access to more than 1,500 facilities nationally (including UQ Sport locations). Whether you’re a Fitness Passport member or not, take the 3-minute survey to suggest additional gyms and facilities for the Fitness Passport by Friday 28 June to go into the draw to win one of ten $100 Rebel vouchers.
Applications to take part in the new Study for Staff pilot program in Semester 2 2024 are closing soon. The program offers significant staff discounts on a select range of Graduate Certificates at UQ. Expressions of interest (EOIs) to present during Teaching and Learning Week (Monday 28 October to Friday 1 November) are closing soon. The theme for this year is ‘Future Ready.’ UQ staff are invited to share their knowledge and experiences in line with these 3 sub-themes: UQ’s future student cohorts, preparing students for the future, and shaping UQ’s teaching and learning future. EOIs close at 9am on Monday 17 June.
