How do I become a presenter on RTRFM?
All prospective RTRFM presenters are required to undergo our radio training course which runs year-round. For more info, head to the Radio Training section of our website.

If you’d like to help us stay on air (it costs a lot to run a radio station!), you can consider:
- becoming an RTRFM subscriber, which entitles you to a number of benefits including business discounts, discounted entry to RTRFM gigs and eligibility for giveaways
- become a monthly donor, which entitles you to feel great about yourself for supporting community radio in Perth
- attend our gigs – we put around 12 gigs a year, including In the Pines, Fremantle Winter Music Festival, the RTRFM Quiz Night, the Radiothon Party, Courtyard Club and a slew of one-off shows covering a range of genres and styles
- buy some merch – we’ve got heaps of RTRFM swag, including T-shirts, mugs, stubbie holders & posters
How can I volunteer at the RTRFM office and events?
We’re always looking for more hands-on-deck, be it in the office or at our events – we couldn’t put on gigs like In the Pines without the help of our volunteers.
