NAGUILIAN, ISABELA - To facilitate the transport of waste materials, the Local Government Unit of Naguilian utilized its FY 2023 Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLG-IF) for the completion of a 123 meter access road leading to its sanitary landfill.

A ceremonial inauguration and turnover event took place on April 30, 2024, in Barangay San Manuel, led by Mayor Juan R. Capuchino. Mayor Capuchino was joined by MLGOO Hazel A. Pablo and other local officials.

Regional Director Agnes A. De Leon, Cluster Head Cristina B. Somera, and representatives from the Regional and Provincial Project Development and Management Units of DILG Region 2 and DILG Isabela attended the event. Also present were PMaj Ferdinand Datul, OIC-PNP Chief of Police, and SFO3 Ferdinand Ibay, OIC-BFP Chief.

Director De Leon thanked the local government of Naguilian for their support of the Department's initiatives and congratulated them on successfully implementing the first FY 2023 SGLG-IF project in the Cagayan Valley region.
