Description

For all configuration issues and other issues specific to the sites and instrastructure of Wikimedia Foundation (as opposed to relating to any of the software that we develop), including issues specific to the content and configuration of Wikipedia, Wiktionary, Commons, and other Wikimedia projects.

Child projects and most closely related Wikimedia components:

SRE and its subprojects;
Wikimedia-Language-setup, Wikimedia-Site-requests, DBA;
gadget-specific components like Navigation-Popups-Gadget, ProveIt-Gadget, Wikidata-Gadgets.
Mobile apps: Wikipedia-iOS-App-Backlog, Wikipedia-Android-App-Backlog

Related groups (sometimes interested in reports here, may be able to act on them or not):

All-and-every-Wikisource, All-and-every-Wiktionary, Commons, ELiSo, Chinese-Sites etc. (when an issue is especially relevant to the respective project)
global interface editors and local administrators, typically for edits to protected pages such as gadgets (but such issues are normally reported on specific components or talk pages where available).

Cross-component related projects (involving both MediaWiki code and Wikimedia):

I added a virtual domain parameter to Template:Extension on mediawiki.org. In theory it could be added automatically to the relevant pages via Tool-extjsonuploader, that's not done for now.

Thanks for you input @Bawolff and @sbassett. So far the script outputs ~2800 potential candidates (See table in F55305255#7434). I'll see how to leverage semgrep to improve the filtering logic and reduce false positives.
