During My doctoral research was on microstructure evolution in ferroelectric ceramics. I have used a range of characterization techniques including synchrotron X-ray diffraction, AFM, SEM to observe the domain evolution in single crystal ferroelectrics. I've also developed micromechanical models explaining the material behavior.
Before coming to Oxford, I completed Bachelor's in Mechanical engineering and master's by research in Materials engineering.
I have work experience of about 2 years. I worked at Tata Motors Ltd. and Thermax India Ltd. Currently, I am working as a Process Improvement Engineer at Morgan Technical Ceramics.
I am mainly an experimentalist specialized in areas such as mechanical testing, materials characterization, failure analysis, evaluation of material properties and property-microstructure correlation. I have also used computational tools and techniques to analyze and model experimental data, in particular MATLAB and LabVIEW.
Away from work, I enjoy music and have been practicing indian percussion instrument, Tabla, for about 15 years.(I have finished PhD at University of Oxford.
