This page hosts requests for global permissions. To make a request, read the relevant policy (global rollback, global sysop, global rename, …) and make a request below. Explain why membership is needed for that group, and detail prior experience or qualifications.
This is not a vote and any active Wikimedia editor may participate in the discussion.
Global rollback and global interface editor requests require no fewer than 5 days of discussion while abuse filter helper and maintainer requests require no fewer than 7 days. Global renamer and global sysop requests require no fewer than 2 weeks of discussion. For requests that are unlikely to pass under any circumstances, they may be closed by a steward without further discussion (after a reasonable amount of input).
Please note that Global rollbackers discussions are not votes. Comments must present specific points in favor of or against a user's approval.

Hello. I am requesting Global rollback as I am very active in vandalism fighting. I took the CVU course a few years ago and I have never had the right pulled from my account. I understand the implications of using GR for non-vandalism work and I have never done that. Most are AGF rollbacks or undo’s. I use my rollback right on my home wiki of Simple on a daily basis and more than it should be but that’s due to a WMF banned LTA and another LTA that pops their head up more frequently nowadays. @TenWhile6 I will never be unblocked on en-wiki and the X-wiki I do is primarily in English as it’s my native language. For the block that just ended it’s due to me being uncivil. First. „I will never be unblocked on en-wiki“ - can this look good to me? Think yourself.
Main points are:
You didn’t mentioned your many active/recent blocks / locks with any word. GR needs a good amount of trust.
Your crossactivity is way to low for GR, normally you should have fought vandalism in many many small wikis. (not the english ones…, they are not small and not enove wikis)
Oppose - active block, recent unlock after socking issues... you have a significant distance to cover to gain/regain community trust prior to being granted advanced global permissions. – Ajraddatz (talk) 17:51, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

While all input is welcome, there is a hard 80% support requirement for this role as per the global renamer policy.
Hello. I'm a fr-wp sysop (since 2011) and bureaucrat (since 2019), involved in patrol and active member of VRT. I would like to help to handle requests from my home wiki, where two other bureaucrats have the right. I've read the Global rename policy and I'm (obviously) familiar with my local policy. Please note: Global IP block exemption does NOT make one immune to locally-created blocks of any sort, only global blocks.
