(Publishing India Group (PublishingIndia) was launched in year 2009, with an objective to be among India's full text publisher covering niche disciplines of Management. We initiated with our first individual journal in year 2010, titled "International Journal of Financial Management" which intends to provide the super ordinate podium to the researchers to share their findings with the global community after having crossed the quality checks and legitimacy criteria, which in no way promise to be liberal.Based on the same and in line with our objectives, we came out with another set of journals during year 2011, covering areas such as Supply Chain Management, Human Resource, Organizational Behaviour, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Accounting Research, Entrepreneurship and other related areas. Most of our journals follow Peer review process and are indexed with International Databases such as EBSCO, Proquest,  Cabell's Directory, Ulrichs' Web and others)

Digitalization in India has become essential and necessary in our day to day life. It has become indispensable and very important part of every individual, business organization and other financial or banking services. As we are moving towards cashless economy, it is possible with implementing digitalization in India. It will boost the digital literacy in India and India is a developing country so there is need to literate every individual and other organization about digital literacy, to move towards becoming a developed country. Therefore, this paper analyse impact of digitalization on education in India. For this analysis considered time series data from 2000 to 2019. In this paper applied regression method for the analysis and before applied the regression we have checked the normality and multicollenerity with the help of descriptive and correlation analysis. Regression results reveal that the coefficient of Government expenditure on education is negative which means there is need to improve the education with more proper funds and efforts towards education for increasing the literacy rate among youth. The Digitalization variables positively correlated to the education's variables, like literacy rate positively correlated to the secure internet server which shows that through the internet server literacy rate is going to increase and in future it will have better impact to the society with the increasing rate of literacy and internet service.

The paper aims at representing the problems faced by people due to non-payment of rent during the COVID-19 period, resulting in them facing eviction from their rented houses. Most of the tenants in this case belonged to lower sections of the society-people working in the informal sectors in search of work and livelihood. They were left helpless on the streets because their source of earning was dependent on daily basis works and all their sources of income were stopped due to lockdown. The government though provided them with the basic facilities through shelter homes and hunger camps. The same happened with people operating their businesses from rented offices or shopping complexes. They were also not able to pay the rents due to fall in income and various other problems. Overall, the spending capacity of consumers has declined, and all these factors are affecting the nation's economy steadily. The rent agreements are governed by various statutes such as The Indian Contract Act 1872, Transfer of Property Act 1881, and many other rent management acts. Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has also passed certain rules regarding the relief and exception from demanding rent from labour migrants and workers during the pandemic lockdown. Additionally, many PILs (public interest litigations) have also been filed in the high court and the supreme court because of the unexpected and unprecedented conditions resulting due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Court has accepted many exceptions which include non-payment of rent during lockdown, non-deduction of wages during the period and waiver of interest on EMIs etc. Violation of these orders will lead to imposition of criminal actions against persons responsible in their respective jurisdictions.

The crisis situation created by COVID-19 has changed the consumer behaviour. One of the most important behavioural changes among consumers is the trend in sustainable consumer behaviour. Companies can consider it an opportunity to attract customers. Therefore, this study investigates the effect of COVID-19 virus on sustainable consumption behaviour of customers in chain stores, by surveying customers’ data in Iran. This research is a descriptive-survey type and a questionnaire tool has been used to collect data and measure variables in order to examine the research model. Statistical sample was selected by random sampling method from customers of chain stores in Tehran and the data were analysed using SmartPLS software. Findings showed that the COVID-19 virus has a positive, direct, and significant effect on individual, social, and situational factors of customers, and these factors also have a significant effect on attitudes, intentions, and ultimately, the sustainable consumption behaviour of customers. The results suggest that chain stores and their suppliers should increase attention, supply, and sales of sustainable consumer products.

Pharmaceuticals play a very substantial part in the treatment of various diseases and related problems. After the treatment, it is necessary to dispose the remnant medicines properly. The disposal of unused and expired medicines in a proper way is important, to evade buildup. Therefore, awareness and knowledge of drug disposal is essential. The pharmaceutical waste in water affects the health of humans. This study aims to evaluate the awareness of disposal among medical healthcare professionals and patients visiting hospitals. The contamination of pharmaceutical waste in the environment is due to the absence of awareness and knowledge among people. Proper disposal of pharmaceutical waste can prevent environmental contamination. In this study, about 100 participants from various categories were considered. The survey included different sections, such as demographics and questions pertaining to awareness. The survey was completed by 500 volunteers, of which 45% were male and 55% female. According to the study, 21% of the participants dispose expired/unused medicines by flushing them down the toilet/sink. Maximum awareness, of approximately 96%, was found among the nurses, about the importance of improper disposal. If the wastage of medication is controlled by the healthcare professionals, the ecological trail of medicines can be greatly reduced. There is a strong requirement for increasing awareness about safe disposal of medications among professionals in the healthcare system. This paper will be a vital tool to initiate effective medical waste management programmes in India.

The education industry was completely transformed by the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic. The industry has upscaled itself to cater to millions of consumers. The purpose of this paper is to understand the attitudinal, awareness, and perceptional issues in virtual and offline learning, especially during the pandemic, as well as to study the academic industry in total and adopt a combined approach. The use of technology and the increased use of the Internet in the last few years have made various new interventions in the industry. This paper also highlights the alteration and dissimilarities between modern education and the traditional mode of education. This study was undertaken to understand which mode of education is more preferred by the students, through the use of primary data and secondary data. One of the findings is: a majority of the people in this research are conscious about virtual education, but prefer the offline mode of education. This paper has also tried to categorise the trials faced by the stakeholders of the industry, in terms of the attitude of the faculty as well as the students, awareness regarding the technological advancements, and perceptions regarding the same. The researchers conclude that all the stakeholders have to bring about huge changes in their skills and attitude to make blended learning a reality.

Marketing has been growing for decades in one form or another. The main purpose of marketing is to make goods and services available to customers as per their needs and wants. Traditionally, marketing used to be done through limited mediums like television, print media, and so on. However, with the changing times and with continuous improvements in information technologies, there has been a shift to modern ways of marketing. Digital Marketing has provided the great opportunity and a huge platform to the marketers to connect to the target audience. India is one of the largest growing markets in the world and the scope for digital marketing is going to increase the most. Modern tools include social media advertisements, e-mail marketing, and so on. This study will focus on how companies and various firms are moving towards the use of modern ways of advertising, and how it is getting easier for them to use these mediums and in connecting the tastes and preferences of a larger customer base.

Safety culture is what we call people's safe behaviours. Safety culture is a fast-growing wave in the industry today. Addressing gaps in building a long-term supportive safety culture for companies underlines a set of unresolved questions on behavioural risk management in the industry, and possible solutions. Everyone raises a voice for safety, then safety culture comes into existence and the risk disappears-is it so simple? Most companies delay their HSE decisions till they suffer. Why so? Without inculcating safety as a core corporate value, the industry cannot be considered safe. Behavioural safety culture is a live surveillance on the risks and their spot-correction to ensure that the safety culture building process is active. Safety culture behaviour is necessary to overcome incidents and accidents at the work sites. Behavioural safety education for one and all is the safety culture being addressed the most. Ideologies on safety cultures vary across the industries in terms of practices. The present article dwelt on identifying the unresolved critical questions on behavioural safety supportive culture implementation in the industry, and the possible solutions. The data were collected from 603 industry professionals who were the study participants. The sampling method was a non-random convenience sampling. A set of ten themes of research findings reflected upon critical issues, such as basic questions on long-term safety cultures; reactive safety culture; collective voice and leadership for at-risk behaviours; religion, spirituality, and festivities for safety at sites; implementation of safety with a consideration for others; features of companies not empowering their workforce for performing safety implementation; competency gap among the safety professionals; the major roadblocks in HSE decision-making; the spot-implementation of behaviour-based safety (BBS) approach by top leaders; and myriad factors to advance the success of a long-term supportive safety culture. Fast-tracking supportive safety culture at sites would mean the next
    level of hard work.

When used as a marketing strategy, packaging may be an efficient way to meet marketing goals while also satisfying consumer desire, thanks to its visual components. In Addis Ababa, this study aims to investigate how product packaging affects consumer purchasing decisions for packaged milk products. Explanatory research design was employed, together with a quantitative method, in consideration of the study objectives and questions. Using straightforward convenience sampling, 384 consumers from five supermarkets in Addis Ababa were chosen as the sample. Based on judgmental sampling, which took into account the population's various socioeconomic features as well as location, the supermarkets were chosen. The questionnaires we collected had an overall response rate of 87.76%. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were applied to the data analysis. Only four of the predictor variables-packaging material, packaging design, packaging size, and printed information-had a positive and substantial impact on consumers' purchasing decisions; however, packaging colour and graphic did not. This was revealed by the empirical results of the multiple regressions. The result and managerial ramifications are then communicated to the various practitioners and planners, along with suggestions for further research.

Sustainable development can be referred to as the biggest societal challenge in the higher education institutions. The higher education institutions nowadays have a vision-to improve knowledge and power for leading the transition to sustainable development. This also induces the changes for starting a new paradigm. After implementing these practices, the higher educational institutions can incorporate the mission and the maintenance of sustainable practices. Through some successful case studies, it can be observed that a massive lack of methodologies and consolidation for supporting any integration and the implementation of the sustainable application can be identified as opportunities in this entire process. This present research will in the future contribute to the sustainability vision in a very holistic and inclusive perspective. It also demonstrates the entanglement between the rector and the academic community. Based on the evidence, the important key takeaway points could be noted, which would assist in the implementation of sustainability steps for higher education. In addition, various approaches, such as the bottom-up and topdown, can be regarded as key ingredients that are necessary for organisational change. Furthermore, the implementation of the sustainable model also ensures commitment from the stakeholders.

Fast fashion is defined as fashion trends that change often. It is a linear system that includes creating new designs, production, distribution, and marketing. Fast fashion's introduction has had severe environmental consequences. Every production stage has an environmental impact due to water pollution, carbon dioxide emissions, and textile waste. A survey was conducted in the Delhi NCR region to comprehend customer behaviour. The study pointed out several important aspects and trends among people. The survey found that although people are aware of the term fast fashion, they do not have a proper understanding of it. They do not follow a particular trend in their consumption, indicating that they only make purchases when necessary. People also tend to discard their clothes frequently, unconscious of environmental impacts. Therefore, raising awareness about this issue and encouraging an upcycling business model in the fast fashion industry is imperative. The goal is to recycle fast fashion apparel, raise awareness, and develop sustainable clothing brands.

The headway of the Internet technology has made e-commerce easier and has changed the way the customers and companies behave. Recent data indicates that the food industry has quickly risen to the top of the most popular Internet purchasing categories. Even in the post-pandemic world, the restriction on activities outside the home to purchase essentials incited the technocrat customers to buy meals online. The intense competition and growth present the restaurants with both a chance and a difficulty; thus, to succeed in this difficult climate, having loyal consumers is essential. Past research in the restaurant industry shows that e-service quality has considerable impact on the customer experience. However, there does not seem to be much literature discussing how the e-service quality affects client loyalty online, in the context of OFD services. This study investigates and assesses the direct impact of e-service quality and customer satisfaction and loyalty towards online food delivery (OFD) services. A survey was conducted among the millennials using a structured questionnaire framed with the help of prior studies in this area. Simple correlation and regression were used to analyse the data, and the study confirms that there is a significant positive influence of e-service quality on e-satisfaction and e-loyalty.

The study scrutinised the correlation between interpersonal skills and job satisfaction among librarians in university libraries in Bayelsa and Delta State. Descriptive survey research design was espoused for the study, using a self-constructed questionnaire as the implement of data collection. The questionnaire was constructed after extensive consultation of related literature, to ensure that pertinent items were included. The population of the study encompassed all librarians in the university libraries in Bayelsa and Delta State, Nigeria; however, the study embraced a purposive sampling technique to handpick respondents for the study. The population of the study encompassed all librarians 78 from university libraries in Delta and Bayelsa State, Nigeria. This was as a result of the manageable size of the population. The study has revealed that a majority of the respondents maintain eye contact with patrons, colleagues, and superiors on the job; they do not get frightened or stressed on the job; they take their work seriously; they do not have difficulty following a task through from the beginning to the end; they always complete their tasks when due; they do not get angry; they do not lose their temper when things do not go the way they want it; they always have good posture and body language at work; they never curse or use offensive language at the work place; people who know them would describe them as cheerful and friendly; they respect the opinions and rights of others at the work place; they are clean, well-schooled, and well groomed in their profession; they handle conflicts among library users and colleagues in a fair and unbiased manner; they try to remain cool and maintain their temper, even in conflicting situations; they interact with library users and colleagues at the same level, irrespective of cultural diversities; and they disagree that they give an excuse to avoid queries when they cannot accomplish their task. The outcomes of the study recommended that managers/heads of libraries should endeavour to encourage librarians to attend courses on interpersonal skills in Nigeria and abroad, by sponsoring librarians through the Tertiary Education Fund. In-house training on interpersonal skills for librarians should be organised quarterly to facilitate effective service delivery.

Currently, Web 2.0 applications are an essential tool for students. It is an easy-to-use interactive and multipurpose digital platform that can be used to make any information global efficiently in a short time. Due to modern technological discovery, sharing knowledge and interaction globally has become an easy task. Web 2.0 applications provide easy communication tools for students. This helps the student in searching, collecting, and disseminating information, leading to better communication between groups. The trend of interaction, knowledge sharing, social networking, and blog writing has significantly increased the use of the Internet among college students. Many academic libraries have started using these Web applications to provide better and up-to-date services to their users. Presently, the use of Web 2.0 applications to deliver its services to users in academic libraries, particularly in engineering college libraries, has started growing. However, studies show that the academic use of these devices is still decreasing at the college level. The knowledge, attitude, and preferences of Web 2.0 applications among engineering college students lead to better and effective use of these Web tools in libraries. The main objective of this study is to identify and determine the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of engineering college students on Web 2.0 applications. The survey method has been used to collect primary data. A self-administered questionnaire has been used to collect primary data from 900 undergraduate engineering students, who have been selected by purposive sampling methods. Out of the total questionnaires distributed, 87% (783) of the questionnaires were filled. A simple percentage calculation chart method under descriptive statistics was used to analyse the primary data collected. Research results show that most students have considerable knowledge of specific Web 2.0 applications such as Gmail, Google drive, social networking, social bookmarking, blogs, wikis, RSS feeds, and Grammarly. This study shows that women use Web 2.0 applications more than men. Most students learn about Web 2.0 applications through friends and colleagues. It also shows that most students have a good understanding of Web 2.0 applications and use these applications to interact and share information. In short, it was found that Web 2.0 applications are the best user-friendly tool for students to learn and share scholarly information with each other.

An archive is the primary source of historical importance. It reflects the glorious past. It is also historical evidence. However, there is a problem of deterioration. Deterioration is a characteristic of all hard documents, with the records deteriorating over time. This is why our ancestors had tried to preserve all the manuscripts and ancient documents by using or applying various traditional and modern methods and techniques. In this paper, we discuss how to protect our heritage for the future. In India, the West Bengal State Archive takes an excellent initiative for protecting the historical evidence. This paper also discusses their efforts to preserve the manuscripts.

Article 19 of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in Paris on 10 December 1948 (General Assembly resolution 217 A) as a common standard of achievements for all peoples and all nations, reads "Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers." The International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) has taken the initiative, IFLA/FAIFE (Freedom of Access to Information and Freedom of Expression), to defend and promote the basic human rights defined in Article 19 of the UN's UDHR. While such movements and initiatives are focused towards the citizens of the world, WIPO's Marrakesh VIP Treaty (MVT) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) cater to the requirements and rights of the persons with vision aberrations and other such bodily deficiencies, which deprives them from accessing information and knowledge, building a steeper and deeper knowledge divide. The present paper examines the relevant articles as mentioned in the MVT, encompassing the 'Accessible Format Copies' (AFC) for the visually disadvantaged. The paper also investigates the provision in the Indian Copyright Act. Various tools as technological interventions have also been discussed, including the Web browser screen readers. A brief discussion on the current status and its implications of WCAG have been also given for greater understanding in context with the theme of the paper.

Owing to the prevailing 'unfair' digital divide, libraries worldwide are unable to build and manage institutional repositories for preserving and sharing the research output of academia. This paper evaluates and demonstrates how libraries can practically harness the completely free SaaS service model based on public cloud deployment model infrastructure to fill this divide and achieve the larger goal of open science. The paper highlights the process and steps of using Zenodo, a FREE and OPEN platform, powered by Invenio (Free Open-Source Software) RDM infrastructure, to establish a trusted repository with the provision of self-archiving. To test the KPIs and functionalities, a live online community 'dlispu' was built on the Zenodo platform and the archiving process was executed. The findings of the study reveal that libraries can easily adopt Green Open Access, thus strengthening the scholarly communication cycle without any upfront and subsequent cost. This immediately outweighs the limitations of the digital divide. The positive outcomes of the study pave the way for the libraries with resource insufficiencies in making research more findable, shareable, and reproducible, with confidence. The findings of the study also reveal that the Zenodo repository is a OAI-PMH-compliant repository supporting metadata harvesting and interoperability.

The study examined the influence of ownership of the institution and job satisfaction among librarians in university libraries in Southern Nigeria. Design/Methodology/Approach: The study adopted ex-post-facto research design. Three research questions were answered and one hypothesis tested in the study. The populace comprises 841 librarians in federal, state, and private universities in Southern Nigeria. A purposive sampling technique was espoused for the study because the entire populace was used as the sample. Data was collected through the use of a self-constructed questionnaire entitled 'Ownership of Institution and Job Satisfaction Scales (OIJS)'. Copies of the questionnaire were administered to 841 librarians in 84 university libraries in Southern Nigeria. The data retrieved was analysed using simple percentages, and descriptive and inferential statistics. Findings: The outcomes of the study discovered that ownership of an institution has a relationship with job satisfaction of librarians in the university libraries of Southern Nigeria. Librarians in the university libraries in Southern Nigeria are satisfied with their job irrespective of ownership of the institution. Research Limitations/ Implications: This study was limited to the influence of ownership of the institution and job satisfaction of librarians in the university libraries in Southern Nigeria. The result of the study will enhance the job satisfaction of librarians in the universities, whereby ownership of institutions should improve welfare packages of staff by creating a good working environment, such as sponsoring short courses, workshops on current trends in librarianship, and career advancement both in Nigeria and abroad, which will improve their job satisfaction. Practical Implications: The results of the study have revealed the relevance of ownership of institution to job satisfaction of librarians in university libraries in Southern Nigeria. Originality/ Value: There are few studies on ownership of the institution and  job satisfaction of librarians in university libraries in Nigeria. Therefore, this paper will increase empirical literature on the topic.

In this computerised world with expanding Web access, the blockchain innovation can be utilised to ratify and store online exchange records like Bitcoin. In this process, it is very tough to abrogate, repudiate, and fake the transactions. Once data or information is stored in blockchain, it is highly impossible to tamper, duplicate, or erase it. The blockchain is used to increase the security in transferring of things, such as money, property, contracts, and so on. Libraries are involved in many online transactions. Therefore, it is best to adapt blockchain technology in libraries, as they are always involved in gathering, preserving, and sharing authoritative information. Here, the authors have made an attempt to find ways to implement blockchain technology in the libraries in the Indian scenario. Initially, the authors studied the present status of blockchain technology in the libraries. Later, the authors identified places where blockchain technology could be implemented, and thus increase security. The authors have explained the concept of blockchain technology, how it works, how to install it, use it, and so on. Also, the advantages and disadvantages of blockchain technology are listed.

This study aimed at examining the effect of leaders' visionary communication on employees' resistance to organisational change. The data was collected from 675 randomly selected employees working in five public enterprises in Ethiopia. Confirmatory factor analysis using structural equation modelling was conducted to confirm validity of measurement instruments; reliability was tested by generating Cronbach's alpha values. The hypotheses were tested based on the results from multiple regression analysis. The findings revealed that the visionary communication of leaders during organisational change has a significant and negative effect on employees' resistance to change, implying that leaders who use visionary communication are likely to face less resistance from employees. Moreover, the moderation effect of self-efficacy in the relationship between visionary communication and employees' resistance to change is found to be significant, implying that a higher level of employees' change-related self-efficacy makes the effect of visionary communication on employees' resistance to change stronger. The findings of this study contribute to making the change literature more comprehensive, revealing this new relationship; recommend change leaders to use visionary communication as an effective mechanism to reduce employees' resistance during organisational change; and shows the moderating role of change-related self-efficacy in making the effect of visionary communication on employees' resistance to change stronger. Limitations and suggestions for further studies are forwarded.

These days, leadership needs both technological expertise and vision, as well as the capacity to predict how technology will impact organisational dynamics. In a worldwide context, the emergent paradigm of e-leadership has grown in lockstep with continuous and complicated organisational transformations. This work focuses on the topic of effective e-leadership from the perspective of the organisation's leadership. Furthermore, to better understand the concept of eleadership and the extent to which it has been adopted in the organisations in Kerala, this research involves the participation of executive and non-executive employees from various industries and work backgrounds to share their perception on effective e-leadership in their respective organisations in Kerala. Within this context, the goal of this study is to develop a model for assessing the fundamental factors that improve the quality of e-leadership in organisations. This research also contributes in exploring the tools that facilitate eleadership in the organisations and challenges that organisations encounter while implementing e-leadership. The findings of the present study revealed that the respondents' perspectives on effective e-leadership in organisations differed significantly depending on their work experience, job role, and industry. The study proved that the four dimensions, namely strategy, agility, leadership style, and digital literacy, all have a significant impact on the quality of e-leadership in the organisations.

This study examines how leader-member exchange relates to innovative performance through work engagement. Further, the study examines the moderated mediating role of job characteristics and workload for the positive indirect relationship between LMX and employee innovative performance via work engagement. The conceptual model is based on a literature review and social exchange theory (Blau, 1964). This explains that the quality of LMX is likely to improve employee engagement and, in return, innovative performance when there are motivational job characteristics and less stressful job demand workload. Three mechanisms have been proposed here to collect data from 529 employees. EQS 6.2 were used for psychometric analysis. Hayes's (2018) PROCESS-macro was used to examine the moderating role of job characteristics and workload and mediating role of work engagement in the link of LMX-innovative performance. The result revealed that work engagement mediated the relationship between LMX and innovative performance. The mediated relationship interacted with job characteristics and workload to influence innovative employee performance in such a way that when the level of motivational job characteristics is high and low, workload engagement had a positive relationship with innovative performance. This paper has practical implications for HR practice. It provides practitioners, mainly work that requires innovation, with suggestions on designing work considering job characteristics and workload and placing stress-management intervention programs that enhance positive emotional states to increase engagement and innovative performance.
