The composition of the immune infiltrate in breast tumors can be associated with improved prognosis and leading to the enhanced survival of cancer patients, but there are studies where inflammatory cells have been described to assist the tumor’s capabilities to progress, proliferate, and metastasize. In breast cancer’s immune infiltrate, all inflammatory cells can be found. We have identified subsets of lymphocytes, which are able to control the local immunity. The determination of lymphocytary populations and histopathology of the tumor is able to define some particularities of the tumor. Our experiments were performed using the flow-cytometer from Department of Immunology Iasi. Flow-cytometry on cellular suspensions shows the presence of lymphocytic infiltrate and a considerable concentration of helper T cells and cytotoxic T cells.
