Jamie McKinven is in his sixth year as Assistant Coach with Queen's Women's Hockey in 2021-22, and works primarily with the defence and as an individual skill development specialist.
McKinven graduated from Clarkson University in 2006, where he was the winner of the Fran Narigan Award (Excellence in Academics, Athletics and Humanitarianism) in his senior year. After competing in the NCAA, McKinven played in parts of four seasons in the ECHL, Central Hockey League, and professionally in Europe.
After his playing career, McKinven served as Assistant Coach and Director of Player Development for the Kingston Voyageurs Jr. A Hockey Club and as a skill development specialist with FL Sports Inc. and McKinven Hockey Development & Consulting.
