Rumored Tank vs Lomachenko

Tank made Garcia sign a weigh in clause in order to agree to fight him. Doesn't get more coward than that.

and he's taken losses he shouldn't have, on paper, because of his movement-first style. he won't punch without an advantageous angle and it leads him to lose rounds.

I can agree with this. He got horribly robbed against haney and and took a lifetime of low blows in a little over half an hour in his first loss. That fight was a disgrace! Neither of these opinions are in any way controversial either

No issue with the teo fight though. Just a shame Loma rolled out the excuses after that fight rather than accepting that he got bested

I hope this fight happens, i think Davis gets outboxed until he lands something big. I think Tank is the best in that stacked division, hoping he fights enough guns to prove it.

he was not robbed against haney lol and the salido loss was 100% loma's fault. if loma was that much better than a 70 year old salido, he would have shown it and gave salido something to fear on the way in so salido couldn't just rush in with wild body shots. but like i said, lomachenko doesn't throw punches unless he has an advantageous angle. so he loses rounds and lets his opponents get comfortable with their offense. teofimo exploited that the best.

Then you’re about the only person that saw the haney fight that way! Even this site, which is full of personal bias, thought he was hometown robbed!
lol and How is it lomas fault that he was repeatedly fouled? If the ref is a fuckin disgrace that’s the fault of neither of the fighters!

low blows aren't illegal when you hold behind the head and lean over someone's back. loma did that the whole fight. there were a few low blows at range and you could maybe have taken a point from salido but you would then have to take a point from loma for holding.

there is not one ref who would penalize a fighter who landed a low blow while the other guy is holding him behind the head or leaning over his back, pushing his head down.
yes there are. in fact, every good ref who actually enforces the rules would.

here's one example that took me almost one minute to find

there was literally no penalty given there. he warned canelo. the ref warned salido too. what kind of example is that?

it's not illegal!

yes it is.

well no ref would ever do anything about it!

yes they would, and frequently do.

but he didn't give him a penalty!

are you the personification of a moving goalpost? or just that stupid?

Ref warned Loma for holding in 6th round I believe and Loma stopped. Ref NEVER warned Salido for 40 plus low blows, and it was salido that was hurt badly in 12 round holding Loma for dear life while raining low blows. Pretty dumb to bring up that "loss" against Loma like it has any merit. That was a gift given salido on silver platter and thats why he ran away from rematch.

it literally was not punished. your example literally shows a ref doing nothing about it. "keep em up" is not a penalty.

ref warned salido as well around the 5th or 6th when he landed a low blow that didn't involve loma pushing his head down.

it's illegal. the refs are supposed to enforce it. the ref in the loma fight didn't. you are a retard.

i said it's not illegal in that specific circumstance. you said it was. i said no one would ever enforce it under that circumstance and you posted an example proving me right. now you're mad.

refs do not enforce low blows when one fighter is pushing the others' head down toward the waist. always been that way and always will be no matter how much you cry about it.

just because you keep repeating it doesn't make it true.

it's illegal under every and all circumstances. there is no rule in boxing that says "no low blows, except when the guy leans on you". you're just making shit up to support your idiotic view here.

there's also no rule to say rabbit punches are legal when you turn the back of your head into them. but they are because that's how they've always been enforced.

again, the rule regarding low blows has been that way forever and will continue to be. pushing the opponent down towards the waist causes their punches to stray low. i would be surprised to see an example of any referee penalizing a fighter in this scenario. i'm sorry that you're upset that you think you're right and can't find a single example proving me wrong.
