Hello, what a brilliant job on Adyghe grammar you are doing! Are you following any published textbook or grammar book that can be referred to in the "References" section (and also to check if the topics are covered completely)? Once you feel the article is more or less finished, I would like to translate it into Russian, and possibly into French. Also the current English version will probably need some proofreading for language, it may be difficult to follow at times.

You are doing great on examples (better to have more than less to explain difficult concepts!), and there will be more than enough English speakers around to get it right in the end.

One thing that comes to my mind: when you are describing personal prefixes for the verb, you are listing only those related to the subject, like: сэкIо – сэ-кIо, "I(subj.) go". But there are also other personal prefixes for direct and indirect objects, for example (sorry if I make mistakes here): уестыщт - у-е-с-ты-щт, you(direct obj.)-to him(indirect obj.)-I(subj.)-give-(future tense), "I will give you to him". I've been thinking about it (sorry for the long and unintended delay), and recently I found a book published in Moscow in 2009 which is a series of articles on Adyghe linguistics. The book has about 100 page introduction on Adyghe grammar. I translated a part of it (dealing with Adyghe verb structure) into English, as it is probably the best explanation of Adyghe verb paradigm I've ever seen on the web. Hello Adamsa, I'm happy to meet you here cause I just began to import some of your records from commons to the french wiktionnary. I just make a basic Adyghe IPA table over there (table here (fr)). But now I'll really want fill it with some Adyghe words as example to illustrate each letters. That's why I come here with the hope you'll be able to create some records to illustrate. And if possible if you can make each phoneme used on the Adyghe to illustrate the sound represented by the letter itself. By the way I don't know nothing about Adyghe, but I think the endangered languages are one of our priority but I study japanese and korean so I'm quite familiar with grammar and linguistic stuff now. That why I'm ready to help you to translate your work on french when you'll finish/complete it. Thank you and cheers up !
PS: I think the Wiktionary project (the free dictionary) support by the Wikimedia foundation may interest you in the future : Wiktionary (english). Hi Adamsa. What do you think about renaming the Adyghe people article to Circassians (or Circassian people) and merging Kabarday and perhaps Abazins and Ubykh people into it as sections, to create a unified article for ethnic Circassians?

Most other ethnic groups are represented on a single article, whereas ethnic Circassians are divided between several articles at present, none of which is named Circassians - the name that Adyghes are famous by (in English). Is it better to have one article representing all Circassians, or several articles representing the subgroups?

Well I agree that calling it Circassians will be better because most people know this ethnic group by the name Circassians and not Adyghe. If it is possible to merge all the articles into one main article, then why not. Depend how you wanna type the R. The Arabic r is "ر" but it doesn't sound like the French R. The Arabic letter "غ" is pronounced as Voiced uvular fricative [ʁ], and it sounds just like the French R.
