Wikipedia:WikiProject Music/Music genres task force

This task force aims to gather together those who are interested in working on and cleaning up the various music genre articles that exist on Wikipedia.

• Maintain list of music genre articles
• Add {{Infobox music genre}}, relevant footer templates and categories to genre articles
• Add {{WikiProject Music/Music genres task force}} to genre article talk pages
• Add to and maintain surveillance of Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Music regarding deletion nominations
• Continue to work through genres adding {{Citation needed}} to all unsourced claims
• Continue discussion on the merger and cleaning up of overlapping genres and subgenres
• Prod/AFD any genre articles that can not be sourced
• To improve genre and related articles to Wikipedia:Content assessment standards
