No Gree for Anybody is a Nigerian slang term which gained widespread currency in 2024 particularly among young Nigerians.[1][2]

The Nigeria Police Force raised called the slogan a word for triggering chaos in Nigeria. According to Leadership news, Olumuyiwa Adejobi the public relation officer addressed that the slogan is aimed at triggering a revolution in the country.
"Let me say it again that the new slogan for 2024, 'No gree for anybody', we have been informed by intelligence that this slogan is coming from a revolutionary sector that may likely cause problems across the country." - Olumuyiwa Adejobi.[3]

"No Gree for Anybody" reflects the major problems faced in a country where democracy are demeaned. It was formed to prove the full patriotism of the country where there is barriers to democracy and human rights violation like insecurity, bullying, injustice from the government, etc. It indicates the willingness of young Nigerians to oppose the administration of the government and stakeholders. It is also not limited to personal discrimination and attacks.

The term "No Gree for Anybody!" found it's way into Nigerian movies sic as Spyro sang a song titled "No Gree for Anybody."[4][5] Also in 2024, Josh2Funny released a song with the same name.[6]

One perceives the slogan from a good standpoint. The slogan was created by the netizens to give them the courage to face the economic challenges head-on. Therefore, it is best seen as a motivational stunt by the young people of Nigeria to keep going despite crippling poverty, skyrocketing inflation, and rising unemployment.
