In May of 2020, there were 179 cases at CCI and roughly 97,652 articles to check. In May of 2024, despite my best efforts, the cases number just over 200 and the articles to check number probably twice that (I think it's in the 205k range?). This is why I push to try and nip copyright issues in the bud where I can, and this is why I, at this point, have minimal patience for people that refuse to understand copyright issues. Newer people just learning them is perfectly understandable. Those that have been around should know better. If I believe this to be insurmountable, which I've started to feel at times, then maybe it's time to move on. Wizardman 22:27, 10 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry if that seemed harsh, the frustration wasn't directed at you but at the AfC tool itself, since it seems to create duplicate project banners frequently and not catch stuff in the shell. Hi there! I noticed your recent edit to Talk:Patrick Ford (boxer) with AWB. Unfortunately, the AWB developers haven't kept up with all the changes to {{WikiProject banner shell}}, so your removal of |blp=no added the page to Category:Biography articles without living parameter. I am probably being a bit dense but I am hoping you can help explain the current status of this topic. In 2011 your edit closed the discussion with "consensus to promote as Featured Topic." It is now listed as a good topic but somehow I missed this change and cannot find any evidence of when or how it happened. Clues gratefully received. Ben MacDui 13:59, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like it was changed as the result of Wikipedia:Featured topic removal candidates/Islands of Scotland/archive1. Might want to check with GamerPro64 about that, since I haven't touched the topic process in... honestly I don't know how many years. Wizardman 14:48, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
