WILD accusations border on outright slander and libel![edit]

I don't know and frankly do NOT care who you are or, most importantly, who you THINK you are to issue such an outrageous accusation and wholly unwarranted threat as I can scarcely EVER reading in my entire life: "Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Troy Duffy, you may be blocked from editing. HelpingHandTalk 18:45, 27 July 2010 (UTC)"

As it happens, I made a point just now of clicking through to check the link for the NEXT revision after mine which apparently includes by any definition a most obscene and objectionable personal slur: "Duffy 'blew mens penises in an alley behind his beloved bar to convince bagpipe loving douchebags to watch his wretched film.'" If by any chance the author of THIS aspersion was the intended target of your warning, I MIGHT be willing to allow that mistakes will happen and accept a proper apology and immediate expunging from my Talk page of said accusation copied above. But given the extreme nature of the threat, I am also copying this entire matter in full to Wikipedia management for further investigation and evaluation of procedures that would permit ANY staff, volunteer or no, to waste MY time having to defend myself to such an extent for what I can only conclude is likely a most foolhardy and negligent failure to check and double-check the actual source responsible for any and all matters deserving THOUGHTFUL enforcement. PLUS such future warnings and most especially threats MUST include documented reference(s) to the edits in question EXACTLY as I have properly summarized at length herein.

Otherwise, you're ALL a bunch of silly amateurs playing power games, aren'tcha?

Ok, Looking over this thing I don't know why he warned you for vandalism either, I don't see any vandal edits by you to the article you were warned about. That would tend to indicate that it was a mistake. Freaking out and repeatedly re-posting the same message to his talk page isn't going to help anything. Please calm down. I am trying to take care of this mess, and you are really not helping. You need to calm down, throwing a fit is not an acceptable way to deal with a problem here. In case you hadn't noticed, I have more or less taken your side as I don't see any vandalism coming from this account. I have blacklisted thehelpinghand from using the automated tool that he was misusing and admonished him to slow down. There's no need to keep ranting on his talk page, at him or at me. Now that we've established where thehelpinghand went wrong, I'd like to point a few things to you as well:

• Users are free to remove anything they like from their own user and talk pages, with a very few exceptions, as outlined at WP:BLANKING
• Re-adding a message after the receiving user has removed it is therefore considered vandalism and/or edit warring
• Having a valid point absolutely does not give you leave to violate our policies on basic civility and personal attacks
• So you see, you have actually stepped on at least as many of our policies as thehelpinghand with your reaction to their misguided editing and warning

I hope we can all simply move on from this incident and get back to actually working on the encyclopedia. Thehelpinghand made a mistake,and you made a mistake in return, the world is an imperfect place full of imperfect people. There's no need to prolong this conflict any further at this point. I am the user whom added the notice on your page about vandalising the page Troy Duffy, I made a mistake instead of posting a notice on the person who edited after you whom did actually vandalise the page I accidentally posted it onto yours and am unreservedly sorry for that.

However unfortunately your revert edits on my talk page and shouting (e.g. ABC instead of abc) are against the vandalising policy of Wikipedia so I will warn you for that.

Test edit??? As I recall the only thing I did yesterday was add a single period to the end of one sentence on the page in question which, as always, I indicated as a minor change, though I happened to do that on my iPhone, rather than in my MacBook Pro Safari browser the majority of the time. I can now see that I meant to insert a comma as now appears in that spot.
