Disambiguation link notification for October 22[edit]
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Tanu Weds Manu, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Madhavan. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

A few tips[edit]
Hi there, your efforts here are appreciated. Here are a few things to note:
- A translation of a title is not a title. So it should not receive title capitalisation or italics.
- We typically spell out numerals up to ten. So the film won "five nominations" not "5 nominations". "Three months" is correct, not "3 months", etc. There were additional problems as well, since your changes appear to have been indiscriminate, and you changed direct quotations, as well.
- Box office is not typically hyphenated. Neither is voiceover.
- Ampersands in prose are typically considered sloppy. Please write out "and". An exception to this is when writing about writing teams or musical teams.
- Per MOS:HEAD, we use "Sentence case" in headings, not "Title Case". So "Cast and characters" is correct, "Cast and Characters" is not.
You should probably take a look at our Manual of Style so that you have a better understanding of community editing norms. Unfortunately, I've had to revert the bulk of your changes. Thanks and regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 00:23, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
- Hi there, re: this edit, I'm only going to go through this once more, since you restored problems that I already indicated as being problematic:
- "Love nowadays" is a translation of the title, not the title itself. It doesn't get capitalised or italicised. See Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Titles#Translations.
- Critical Response is incorrect per MOS:HEAD. Critical response is correct.
- Box-Office is incorrect for two reasons: "box office" is not hyphenated, and per MOS:HEAD, we use sentence case.
- Please adjust accordingly, because if you continue to make the same mistakes, it can very quickly be perceived as disruptive, which I'm sure is not your goal. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 22:34, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
- I've reverted pretty much all of your edits today (after that second message) where you ignored everything above. You MUST work within the standards of Wikipedia, especially once they've been explained to you. Ravensfire (talk) 15:24, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
