Hi there, this is Discasto, a wikipedian formerly known as Ecemaml (proof). I was an admin in commons for almost six years (see).
Interesting essays[edit]
The English Wikipedia has generated plenty of policies and essays that can be used by anyone to hit you on the head with. First, mind that an essay is not a policy, so you can safely ignore complaint based on a essay. Secondly, have a look at the following policies and essays. They can be helpful:
- WP:NOTPOLICY: Don't cite essays or proposals as if they were policy
- meatball:DefendEachOther: Defend Each Other (be cautious with this one, as you can finally receive the blows instead)
- WP:WOLF: Don't cry wolf (interesting to know when you're being harassed and the stalkers claim they happened to be passing by)
