Territory[edit]

Having been reverted without explanation by BilCat, I'm wondering why. Nearly all the types of administrative divisions listed are in the singular, so I'm not sure why "territories" would not be. 207.161.217.209 (talk) 05:38, 5 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@BilCat: Your repeated refusals to engage constructively on the talk page are becoming increasingly frustrating. I appreciate that you have partially reversed your unexplained revert, but that still doesn't account for why you reverted my first edit (or why you reverted my second edit to begin with, for that matter). As you can see, parentheses were used around "Commonwealth" because it is a subclass of territory. This is a common practices in navboxes/sidebars and I made this change for the sake of consistency in this very template (see where the same format is used for protected areas towards the bottom of the template). The slash that is currently being used could incorrectly be interpreted to mean that the terms are mutually exclusive and/or that an administrative division can be a commonwealth without being a territory. So again, BilCat, why the unexplained revert? 207.161.217.209 (talk) 06:13, 5 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You're right, my apologies. For the record, it's hard for my to recognize a string of numbers on sight, so I didn't realize I had reverted you elsewhere before. It wouldn't have made any difference, but it certainly wasn't a case of wiki-stalking. - BilCat (talk) 06:27, 5 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
