I thought this trimming job by Elan Morin Tedronai was very appropriate. Elan Morin Tedronai removed a bunch of stuff about individual band members doing non-Poison things. For instance, the stuff about Bret Michaels acting with Charlie Sheen has nothing to do with the band. Same with Michaels on a sex tape.
Let's keep this article focused on the band, and send the off-topic bits to other articles. Binksternet (talk) 17:57, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: moved. German band article deleted at AfD. (closed by non-admin page mover) – robertsky (talk) 01:26, 10 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Poison (American band) → Poison (band) – see page views from the American band (37,867) and the German one (375). same case as with Nirvana (band). not even sure the german one satisfies notability guidelines FMSky (talk) 07:49, 30 September 2022 (UTC) — Relisting. – robertsky (talk) 16:44, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- This is a contested technical request (permalink). GeoffreyT2000 (talk) 00:58, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- There is nothing "technical" about this request, especially due to WP:COMMONNAME, and titling an article with WP:PDAB like Thriller (album) has a really high bar of controversy. This request has to have a discussion. Steel1943 (talk) 14:12, 30 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- so i guess Nirvana (band) just gets different rules? --FMSky (talk) 06:01, 2 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- Relisting comment: Holding decision until the AfD on the German band is resolved. – robertsky (talk) 16:44, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- If that is closed a delete we can probably move as uncontroversial like with Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Iron Maiden (blues rock band). Crouch, Swale (talk) 18:51, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
