Jane Cooper = Jane Fool?[edit]
Linda Porter in "Mary Tudor: The First Queen" (p.303 in Kindle edition) names "A later fixture in Mary’s life was her fool, Jane Cooper, one of the few female examples we have of a role that was generally given to men.". So she did have a known surname - assuming it's the same Jane? I can't easily find other sources to this. Retired electrician (talk) 12:02, 4 October 2013 (UTC)
