Italiano: Statuetta romana in bronzo tipo tintinnabulum di Mercurio con borsa di monete in mano e raggiera di falli in testa, rinvenuto a Pompei, oggi esposto nel Gabinetto Segreto del Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli (inv. 27854). Questa statuetta ha una doppia funzione: di amuleto che scaccia il male (i falli in testa) e di talismano che attira il bene (il sacco di monete in mano).
English: Bronze figurine with phalluses (Naples Archaeological Museum, Italy; inv. nr. 27854), from Pompeii. The Pompeian Mercurius tintinnabulum. It has an attachment for a bell on his phallus, and also attachments on the two long phallic ‘antlers’ on his head. The little bells are lost.
