English: Detail of a human metaphase spread. A region in the pseudoautosomal region of the short arms of the X- and Y-chromosome (PAR1) was detected by fluorescence in situ hybridizaton (green). Chromosomes counterstained in red.
Deutsch: Ausschnitt aus einer menschlichen Metaphase-Spreitung. Eine Region in der pseudoautosomalen Region auf den kurzen Armen des X- und des Y-Chromosoms wurde mit Fluoreszenz-in-situ-Hybridisierung nachgewiesen (grüne Doppelpunkte, je ein Punkt pro Chromatid). Chromosomen sind rot dargestellt.
