Dour-e-Junoon (Urdu: دورِ جنون, lit. 'Period of Madness') is a 1983 Pakistani television long play written by Anwar Maqsood and it was produced and directed by Mohammad Nisar Hussain.[2][3]
Synopsis[edit]
The story is about Zainab and Sami, an old couple who live together in their house.[4] They have four young sons who have moved abroad and don't contacts them. Zainab is the only person who understands her husband's pain but later he falls ill due to the sadness and depression and she contacts a kind lady, Rehana, a doctor who helps them. Rehana cheers Zainab and tries to help her and her husband.[5]
