Hello HistoryTheorist,

The information I added does not require referencing, in my opinion, as it was simply a rewording of the information that was already there, which I made based on common sense and a small amount of scientific knowledge.

I disagree with the use of the phrases "in the strictest sense" and "from a genetic standpoint" when referring to the nature of the surrogate mother's relationship to the baby in the case of reciprocal IVF (between two lesbian women; one woman is the surrogate mother and the other is the biological mother); as I believe it to be misleading. The term "biological mother" has only one meaning/sense/standpoint, which is the female parent of a child from whom the child inherits genetic material, which is distinct from the term "surrogate mother", which refers to a woman who carries and gives birth to a baby who is not their biological child. I think it's important to clearly distinguish the two terms, as they are probably easily confused, which is not helped by the current language in this section of the article, which is ambiguous, in my opinion. Hence, I thought it best to clarify that one parent is the biological mother, and advocates who claim otherwise are incorrect.
