Important notice about using copyrighted material in Wikipedia

Control copyright icon Hello Cryw 9! Your additions to Lashkar-e-Islam have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Politrukki (talk) 12:05, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

TTP ideology and allegiance

Kindly before making any changes read the TTP ideology and allegiance, TTP clearly sy their allegiance with Taliban, which is mentioned on TTP's article. 103.141.159.74 (talk) 17:47, 16 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

While the TTP did pledge allegiance to the Taliban and they did claim to be a branch of the Afghan Taliban, the Afghan Taliban have rejected the TTP's claim of TTP being a branch of the Afg. Taliban and they have denied being allied to TTP. Cryw 9 (talk) 17:53, 16 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing hoaxes, such as User:Cryw 9/sandbox, is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. 1234qwer1234qwer4 19:22, 10 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Please do not create, maintain or restore hoaxes on Wikipedia. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Continued disruption will be met with being blocked from editing, or other sanctions. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 19:49, 10 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Cryw 9,
Please do not create drafts of fictitious events and subjects. Even though this content is in your User space, Wikipedia is not a webhost for your speculative writings so everything in your User space, beyond some simple biographical details on your User page, must be related to article writing or editing on Wikipedia. There are plenty of other platforms online, like blogs, social media or even other wikis like Fandom, where you can put this kind of writing.
If you have questions about this, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 19:53, 10 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia. Frenkie Mark is neither a media outlet nor an independent journalist that meets the requirements of WP:SPS; therefore he cannot be used. Firestar464 (talk) 00:18, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As his bio said he was a war correspondent I assumed he fit the requirements for an RS, Since thats not the case, my Apologies. Cryw 9 (talk) Cryw 9 (talk) 00:27, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright problem icon Your edit to Afghanistan Freedom Front has been removed in whole or in part, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and persistent violators of our copyright policy will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. — Diannaa (talk) 23:12, 30 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for September 18

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Free Idel-Ural, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chuvash. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:01, 18 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Pov pushing

Crimea is occuped since 2014, Kherson is occuped since 2022.

Annexations does not end the occupation. Panam2014 (talk) 15:06, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As I already stated, Russia has declared annexation of Kherson Oblast incorporating it into a new oblast of its own, therefore the MCA of Kherson Oblast has ceased to exist being succeeded by the new oblast (the same is said on the article of Russia's occupation of Zaporizhzhia), if anything you are the one who is POV pushing. Cryw 9 (talk) 15:21, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
THE OCCUPATION IS ONGOING. STOP YOUR PRO RUSSIA POV. Panam2014 (talk) 16:34, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Did you even read my previous message? I'm not pushing any POV if anything you are pushing a Pro Ukrainian POV. Cryw 9 (talk) 17:03, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ukrainian POV does not exist. Objectively, Russia is occupiying Ukraine since 2014. Panam2014 (talk) 17:48, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Whether that is or isn't true, Wikipedia is not the place to spread your POV whether Ukrainian or Russian. Cryw 9 (talk) 18:16, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Stop now. Neutrality is not putting in equal footing 2 POV : Nazis/Jews, Israel/Palestine, India/Pakistan. Per reliables sources, Russia is occupiying Ukraine since 2014. Panam2014 (talk) 18:29, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Both of you need to have a read of WP:AGF. Firestar464 (talk) 05:21, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
