Main festivals[edit]

@Fylindfotberserk

Kalpataru Day, Sri Ramakrishna Jayanti, Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, Muharram, Christmas are not observed by majority of the people of West Bengal. Ritwik Mahatat@lk 14:12, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Fylindfotberserk: Majority are Bengali speakers (of various religious background) so likely yes. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 16:05, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Fylindfotberserk
Should these festivals be kept in the "Main festivals" section? Ritwik Mahatat@lk 17:25, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Kalpataru Day and Sri Ramakrishna Jayanti may be moved to 'Other festivals' section IMO since these two are largely associated with a particular sect. Rest are widely observed by diverse groups. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 17:42, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
