• Russian invasion of Ukraine
  • Russia launches major airstrikes at Kyiv and western region of Lviv involving Kinzhal missiles and drones, as one of the missiles violates NATO airspace over Poland prompting activation of planes from the Polish Air Force. (Reuters) (Sky News)
• Three gunmen attack the police headquarters in Yerevan, Armenia. Two of the attackers are wounded by their grenades, while the third is detained. No other casualties are reported. (Reuters)

• A rally car veers off the road and crashes into a group of spectators during a the Esztergom-Nyerges Rally between the towns of Lábatlan and Bajót near the Danube River in northwest Hungary, killing four people and injuring seven others. (AP)
