- And while we’re on the subject of hidden information about video games (by “hidden”, I mean it is visible in the code but not in the game itself), it’s supreme bullshit that base stats of Gen VI Pokémon were known just 12 days after the release of XY (maybe even sooner than that) but Litleo’s gender ratio was not known until three years later. Until November 18, 2013, no one (fine, I’m sure the GameFreak and Nintendo people did) knew for sure that the chances of getting a shiny Pokémon in the wild had increased.
