Drag the River

Bold textHello,

Bold textI am spreading the world re: a truly disturbing experience my friend had at the recent Drag the River show in Denver, CO. She was taken advantage of by at least one member of the band, coerced into taking multiple shots and possibly had something put into her drink before being violated. Yuck! This is exactly the disgusting kind of behavior we are all trying to get rid of in the music scene. Spread the word and make 'em accountable!

Drag the River is an alt-country band hailing from Fort Collins, Colorado, United States. The band formed in 1996 when members Chad Price and Jon Snodgrass recorded 20 or so songs which were released as demos in 2000. All the members of the band come from a punk rock background. Price and ex-member Karl Alvarez have both been active in ALL since the 1990s. In 2002 J.J. Nobody of The Nobodys joined the band. Later, in 2004 Casey Prestwood of Hot Rod Circuit and Dave Barker of Pinhead Circus joined and picked up the steel & lead guitar, and drums respectively. The band released their latest full length album called "It's Crazy" on June 6, 2006. In May of 2007, the band called it quits. Jon has reunited with Armchair Martian for at least two tours and Chad, Dave and Casey now play in Rocky Votolato's band. J.J. Nobody now plays with Hussy which includes other members of the Nobodys. Their final studio album "You Can't Live This Way" will be released in January 2008. Drag the River has planned three "reunion" shows to celebrate the release.
