ACME Night is an American programming block that premiered on September 19, 2011 on Cartoon Network. ACME Night targets a family audience and primarily airs animated and live-action feature films.[1] It currently broadcasts every Sunday evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET/PT.
History
Launch (2021)
On February 5, 2021, Tom Ascheim stated in an interview with Kidscreen that Cartoon Network would expand its offerings to include series aimed at family audiences, girls, and preschoolers.[2]
On September 1, 2021, WarnerMedia Kids & Family announced ACME Night, a block for Cartoon Network targeting family audiences. The block launched weeks later on September 19, dedicated to family blockbusters and occasionally sitcoms and game shows.
