In addition to being a session musician, he was also a arranger and producer who's work appeared on over 50 albums.[7] During the 1970s he was a member of Stevie Wonders back up band Wonderlove.[8][9]

In the late 1990s he was involved in the production of Roscoe Lee Browne's Murmurs of the Heart album.[10]

He passed away at age 67 on Sunday 25th October 2015.[1] Prior to his death he had been suffering from cancer.[2][1]
