Meaning of "bindaż" in the Polish dictionary

Tender, berceaux, cooler, cradle - avenue planted on both sides with trees or vines, whose shoots twist over the road creating a vault. Bindings were established in the gardens from the renaissance, but the most popular were the Baroque period. Binding plants can be molded using a suitable construction or simply by cutting, tilting and twisting the shoots. There are three main forms of this type of construction: ▪ a leaf tunnel that surrounds the passage from the vault and sides, ▪ a raised wall and a green vault supported by bare trunks, usually up to about 2 m high. Bindaż, berceaux, chłodnik, kolebka – aleja obsadzona obustronnie drzewami lub pnączami, których pędy splatają się nad drogą tworząc sklepienie. Bindaże zakładane były w ogrodach począwszy od renesansu, jednak najbardziej popularne były w okresie baroku. Rośliny tworzące bindaż mogą być formowane za pomocą odpowiedniej konstrukcji lub tylko poprzez odpowiednie cięcie, związywanie i splatanie pędów. Wyróżnia się trzy główne formy tego typu konstrukcji: ▪ tunel z liści, otaczających przejście od sklepienia i boków, ▪ podniesiona ściana i sklepienie zieleni wsparte na gołych pniach, zwykle do wysokości ok. 2 m, ▪ zielony dach z otwartymi bokami....
