Meaning of "hafton" in the Malay dictionary

Half a ton or hafton is a reprographic technique that delivers imagery of a ton of imagery with various sizes and spots. 'Hafton' also imposes the image generated through this process. Compared to the continuous toned imagery containing countless colors or decadence, the half-ton process compresses a visual copy of a binary printed image with only one color ink. This binary copy requires a basic optical illusion where these fine half-ton spots are blended into tons of smooth in human eye observations. If viewed through a microscope, the washed black and white photo film is also made up of two colors, rather than an innumerable continuous countless tons. As color photography changes the face with the addition of films and film layers, color printing is done by repeating the half tonne process for each subtractive color, often using 'CMYK color model.' Semi-opaque ink properties allow half-tonnes of spots to produce another optical effect, which is colorful imagery. Berbanding dengan imejan ton selanjar yang mengandungi beraneka warna atau kelabuan yang tak terbilang, proses separuh ton memampatkan salinan visual kepada imej binari yang dicetak dengan dakwat satu warna sahaja. Salinan binari ini memerlukan ilusi optik asas yang mana bintik-bintik separuh ton yang halus ini diadun menjadi ton licin dalam cerapan mata manusia. Jika dilihat melalui mikroskop, filem foto hitam putih yang dicuci juga terdiri daripada dua warna sahaja, bukannya beraneka ton selanjar yang tak terbilang. Seperti mana fotografi warna berubah wajah dengan penambahan turas dan lapisan filem, pencetakan warna dijadikan dengan mengulangi proses separuh ton untuk setiap warna subtraktif, selalunya menggunakan 'model warna CMYK.' Sifat dakwat yang separa legap membolehkan bintik-bintik separuh ton menghasilkan satu lagi kesan optik, iaitu imejan penuh warna-warni.
