hey, i been making bento bom mesh heads for a while now and i use the CLASSIC default uv map that avastar head got to convert to my own heads, but i wanted to ask - even if i use the classic uv map that sl got do i need to be worried about getting permission from lelutka? my heads are NOT evox or has anything to do with their topology/ uv map. i literally use this - > https://ibb.co/2ygFspD as the map to my heads which means its the default one. please let me know!

I am starting to look at whether I change from the Catya (Catwa) head to either a Lelutka or HDPro but looking at Demos so far I am struggling to see which would be similar or as close as possible. I really do not want a brand new face I want to match as close to what I have now. Is anyone able to advise if they have made the change. The reason I like the Catya is that I was really able to make a lot of mods to the structure to get it very precise and I do not adjust my face much ever but some of the others dont seem so easy. THanks for your help

Hello everyone, I'm using the LeLUTKA Ceylon Head 3.1 and I have a problem with it, my mouth moves only when I type and it's great, but when I click on the lips/mouth area and choose from the list of vocal: lip part, part more, smile, smile more or sing and tries to speak from the microphone, nothing seems to happen and the mouth doesn't move at all. Wondered if anyone had any similar experience and could help me please. Thank you in advance ♥

im making for long now bento heads and would like to publish them to my store, but my question if someone know or can guide me how to do huds/ appliers/ scripts for heads? or is there any guide in youtube or in the lsl libary script that i am missing ? thanks.

i tried the demo for one and messed around with shapes and skins till i found a look i really liked, i was nearly ready to buy the head but when i switched on my ao i noticed all of the animations seemed to warp and twist the neck really unrealistically. i tried this on three different mesh bodies and with all my animations and this bad interaction continued. the only time this does not happen is when i'm using the stiff default SL ao. i tried switching off head animations in the hud but i'm pretty certain that's just for stopping the facial expressions. this doesn't happen with my catwa head so i believe it must be some issue with the lelutka one. does someone know a way to get past this?? sorry if it's a newbie sounding question i'm just feeling really bummed and want a way to make the head work without having to confine myself to no movements.

I have been searching for cute mesh gatcha heads tho i found a few but does anyone know a few cute korean style heads from gatcha or something that is reselled to marketplace? It's just i don't have enough lindens to edit my avatar with the famous head brands then buying shape,skin,makeup, etc. I have tried calculating and it may cost around 5,000 to 10,000L and I don't wan't to use that much just for my av. If anyone know a mesh head around 800L+ or lower please comment~ I'll really appreciate it!

Hey everybody, I bought a mesh av recently after years of not logging on second life and I was wondering if the sexual expressions are bought separetedly or they come with the heads? mine just stays motionless. I got a catwa destiny head of 900L. Thanks in advance!

Hiya I've been considering finally making a human av, since I've been mainly wearing furry or other anthropomorphic type avs. I just don't know where to start, but I know what I'm looking for at least? I was wondering if there were any human bento heads that weren't so realistic looking? Like something with stylized proportions that's not totally anime, an example would be like an Overwatch character or something. Is there any SL creators that make something close describing that? 0:

Hello lovely people, I have been using an avatar with an inbuilt head for some time and have just switched to using a Maitreya Lara body, which does not come with a head. And this has thrown me back into beginner territory.... I have been told that I just need a *skin* in order to choose a nice new face. So... I reset my body to a standard SL 'classic' female body and then added the Maitreya Lara body and alpha. So far so good... I have the nice new body and the standard SL head with its face poking out the top. I have one of the Maitreya *shapes* worn. I then went to stores 'LAQ' and 'Catwa'. Ignoring their (great) 3D mesh heads... When I try some of the *skins* on sale the new face gets applied but looks all distorted. But in some cases you get a *shape* with the skin and this fixes it. But this shape seems to override the whole body's shape as well as fixing the face. I am going round in circles not really understanding shapes, skins and heads! *cries* In short I have three questions: Do I need to buy a base Catwa or LAQ (or some other) *head* in order to apply their skins to it? Or should they work with the default avatar head underneath (i.e. without masking it off) What about shapes? Can I keep my own body shape and then use a 3rd party skin (for the face) or will I always have to use the shape that comes with the skin? Can you have a shape for just the head and a shape for the body or can you only wear one shape overall? If anyone can help me untangle this I will be very grateful! Thank you! Katy xx

Hi I am having trouble with the adding on mesh heads and ive bought many meshs my problem is that everytime I try to add one on and put the alpha on to get rid of the system head my mesh head disappears idk if I am doing something wrong cause I think I am, or is it my settings? I got help from one of thecatwa contemporaries she helped me but today when I got back on it was like white rings around my eyes.....Yesterday she fixed my settings on why my head was disappearing I took it off because I didn't know how to get rid of the rings around my catwa head by my eyes. Can someone help me step by step to put on a mesh head or is there anyway I can stop the system head from popping up when I have no alpha on, cause I tried to use the "invisible avatar" mask when I used it my mesh head is gone but I'm the only person that can see it and nobody else can and everyone who helped said it was very strange and odd I really thought the sameas you can see I'm kinda new to this and the catwa head cause you have to put it on in a specific order or style however you suppose.

Howdy! I've been searching for this, and don't have answers. I thought I might find a blog covering this, but haven't yet. Anyone have success with mixing male and female skins on the opposite sex head? I've been away from SL throughout much of the burgeoning creations of mesh heads and bodies, and trying to come up to speed on certain questions because system now seems obsolete in fashion and beauty; I want to get caught up on the tech surrounding avatar aesthetics. Ok. So...I've been here a while but I've never quite gotten the terminology. Can someone tell me what the skin is and does, the head, shape, body, etc? Also...what is a bento head? Thanks ....
