Most law enforcement agencies do not track transgender homicides, but researchers have recorded over 300 transgender people murdered nationwide between 2010 and 2021. The national clearance rate is just over 50%, but police in Chicago have cleared only 14%, they found.
Robin Lee Reierson, 69, of Schiller Park, pleaded guilty Monday to felony charges of assaulting, resisting or impeding certain officers.
