The Yoernan club defeated the Bishop nine on the Agricultural park diamond in one of the best and fastest games of the season yesterday afternoon, by a score of _; to 1. Ben Pratt, pitcher for the winners, not only placed his team on the right side of the score by his excellent twirling, but won his game by Bending two runs over the rubber, when he clouted the sphere to right garden for two bases. Tom Pina, his opponent on the mound, had an off day and was not up to his regular pitching form.
